Joy of Learning Farm School will be expanding for fall 2026 with an additional classroom!  Are you looking for a "non traditional way of schooling young children"?  Our plan for Kindergarten is to expand our learning to include those children and families that want an active, hands on, interest based way to learn that is developmentally appropriate (with low technology impact) as a five year old.  We will be implementing the Framework of teaching and learning of Project Construct while implementing learning from the Missouri Learning Standards.  Mrs. Joy is a 32 year veteran (in various realms of Early Childhood including Kindergarten) who is passionate about teaching young children in way that is enjoyable and effective.  She has seen the effects of inappropriate methodology promoted in the early childhood classroom and stands firmly by the way that she knows children should be taught during this stage of development.
